The present world economic crisis, sparked more by a weakened ethical sense than by a failure of the infrastructures, calls for a renewed reflection on the ethics of finance and business. In this context, religions can play a great role in bringing to mind the universal values of fraternity and cooperation underlying an equitable and just market-economy.
